I sit, I stand, I sit, and I stand again.
And all the while, I can continue typing. In fact, I’m actually standing right now as I am typing this. Pretty cool, huh! That’s the beauty of the FlexiSpot 35 Desk Riser. It enables me to continue working whether I’m sitting or standing, which has been incredibly helpful since I have back and hip issues. So, I have decided to review the FlexiSpot 35 Desk Riser and share my thoughts on it.
So, why the FlexiSpot 35 Desk Riser?
I’m so glad you asked! It just so happens that I made a quick video and put it up on YouTube to share my thoughts on the FlexiSpot. In it, you’ll also get a quick tour and demo. So, check it out!
So, yeah, not the shortest of videos, but I like to talk. LOL. By the way, I’m now sitting. 🙂
Here are a few items to keep in mind when considering the FlexiSpot 35:
The unit is about 60 lbs, so you must make sure that the desk you place it onto can handle the added weight. Also, be mindful of the weight in lifting it up into position.
I’ve opted to not use the keyboard tray that comes with the unit because it does not slide in and out, and it’s a little high for me when in the seated position. But, that was not a deal breaker for me.
While the platform is 35″ wide – and it is recommended that your desk be at least 35 inches wide – the “legs” of the riser will need 31 inches width.
You also will need to ensure that your desk is at least 24″ deep.
Check the specs on their website for all of the rest of the spec-type info.
Two Thumbs Up from Me!
All in all, I’m very pleased with this riser. As mentioned in the video, I checked out a few brands/models, and this one was the best option for me. The price was definitely more attractive than others I had looked at and I totally love the little groove that accommodates a phone or tablet – or anything else that I might want to place in there. Additionally, it’s been wonderful for me to be able to continue working while sitting or standing.
So, if you’re in the market for a desk riser, do check out the FlexiSpot 35!
